The first volume of Kong was originally released as a limited-edition only. It burned like a brush fire, partly because of the over-the-top camp covers it contains, and partly because of the phenomenally eye-catching cover, a 3-D 3-part image of superimposed faces; too difficult to describe, best seen in the flesh.

This volume is now reissued, still in the same packaging, and a second is also released to accompany it.

Covers of ‘Miss you’ (by Madonna’s producer Mirwais), ‘Black Betty’, ‘Uptight’, ‘Last night a DJ saved my life’ etc… The collection is packed with goodies.

OK, hands up, the price is pretty horrendous for a single CD…
