• The institution that is Momo’s has for over ten years been an ambassador to pan-Arabian culture, from a starting point of excellent cuisine in a stunningly exotic environment, to a buzzing nightclub and intimate live setting in the cellar-bound Khemia Bar. The cake was then iced with the release of the first Arabesque album on Gut Records, a collection of pure goodies from the emergent Arabic music scene. The effect of this was electric, and legendary.

• After two subsequent volumes (Zoudge and T’lata) and a few year’s silence, the new Momo label Mo’zik Records is very excited to present Arabesque 4 (Arba’a), a 2CD set which transcends and mixes musical boundaries.

• Under the familiar banner of the camel, ship of the desert, this collection unites an eclectic combination of artists from Congo to Morocco, Ethiopia to Algeria, France to Lebanon and Egypt to America, under two themes; classic and modern.
