o These are the very first recordings made by the tenor saxophonist upon returning to the U.S. after a 14-year exile in Europe. This is the first time that any of this material has appeared on CD.

o Dexter Gordon & Al Cohn, tenor saxophones; Blue Mitchell & Sam Noto, trumpets; Barry Harris, piano; Sam Jones, bass; and Louis Hayes, drums. Track 4 is a tenor saxophone duet, while track 5 is a quintet featuring the two saxophonists and the rhythm section.
