• Jesse Harris is a NYC singer/songwriter, known to many for composing “Don’t Know Why”, which Norah Jones covered on her massively popular, Grammy-winning debut “Come Away With Me”, on which he also played guitar. But as a solo artist, he has a lot more to offer.

• “Feel” is his seventh solo album, and shows Harris’ customary well-crafted song-writing skills, engaging vocals, and acoustic guitar backings. He works generally in a folk-pop style, but with the introduction of subtle influences - touches of jazz, reggae, African, etc - and lyrics and melodies with unusual twists and arrangements.

• “Feel” was recorded in 2007, but is only now receiving its UK release. In the same year this album was recorded Harris acted in and wrote the soundtrack to Ethan Hawke's film ‘The Hottest State’, with tracks interpreted by Cat Power, Bright Eyes, Feist, Willie Nelson, and others.

• His debut recording was in 1999 as Jesse Harris & The Ferdinandos. On ‘Feel’, bassist Tim Luntzel is from the original Ferdinandos line-up; and superb violinist Jenny Scheinman, and drummer Andrew Borger, who both worked with Norah Jones, plus Jon Dryden on piano & organ, are also involved.
