• Mickey Clark, from Kentucky, is a long-established country-folk singer-songwriter who spent years working in the Nashville ’hit factories’ where he wrote songs for Jerry Lee Lewis, The Oak Ridge Boys, Glenn Yarbrough, and many others. On “Winding Highways” he finally gets the chance to present his own material, himself.

• On the album, he has enlisted the help of a number of famous friends : John Prine, Jerry Jeff Walker, Kinky Friedman, Robin and Linda Williams, Sam Bush, Tim Krekel, and Turley Richards. The album was produced by the acclaimed Jim Rooney, who has produced for Nanci Griffith, John Prine, Iris DeMent, Townes Van Zandt and many others.
