• Harry "Sweets" Edison, master of the muted trumpet sound, moved back to New York in 1958, turning his back on lucrative Hollywood studio work, and set up a swinging sextet featuring Jimmy Forrest on tenor. The group also included Freddie Green on guitar, later replaced by Steve Jordan

• Double CD includes three complete LPs. On the second date Edison is joined by Buck Clayton to form a back to back trumpet section
