• "Tanto por Hacer" is the second album of singer-composer Pepo Sanchez, who is from the southeastern Spanish region of Murcia - and the fine musicians in Pepo’s band are gathered from such established Spanish groups as L'Ham de Foc, Malvariche, Jerez Texas Malagüero, and Miquel Gil’s band.

• The producer Sanchez chose for this project is Efrén López, the former leader of the highly influential Valencian folk-world groups L’Ham de Foc and Aman Aman. He finds a powerful and rich sound, and helps develop the many Mediterranean influences.

• La Banda del Pepo's music is a mesmerizing melting pot of western and eastern Mediterranean sounds There is a strong flamenco root to the material, with folklore from the south Iberian Peninsula, and North African styles - but in addition, the poetic and romantic spirit of the 60s and 70s, including an approach and attitude found in ‘progressive rock’.

• There is a bonus DVD disc with footage of the making of the album, interviews and live recordings of the band.
