Birdpen is a trio of band members Mike Bird, Dave Pen and James Livingston Seagull, formed in 2004 and with a clutch of singles to their name; this is their debut album.

Both Mike and Dave were the called on by successful band Archive to help out with their 2007 European tour, and with the subsequent ‘Live au Zénith’ album, which Rolling Stone magazine hailed as the ‘best live album in the world’.

Archive, although a British band, are a European phenomenon. The job for Birdpen is to make their mark in this country. They have caught the attention of BBC Radio 2 DJ Tom Robinson, and should be appearing on his show.
