• Jimmy Giuffre’s trio work with Jim Hall stands by itself as a unique collection of intimate chamber music. The third voice of the trio was usually a bass - here, Ralph Peña – but on other sessions, Ray Brown, Jim Atlas, Red Mitchell, Wilfred Middlebrooks) or even Bob Brookmeyer, on valve trombone and piano.

• Recorded in Los Angeles, December 3 & 4, 1956. One bonus track.

• This limited LP edition is a special audiophile pressing on 180 gram virgin vinyl, with thick cardboard sleeve.
