• All recorderd at “the greatest little gig venue in the north” : the Trades Club, Hebden Bridge - a small former mill town in the Yorkshire Pennines between Manchester and Leeds. The Trades Club, established 25 years ago, has a capacity of just 140 seated, 180 standing, and has consistently managed to attract world class musicians from across the musical spectrum, happy to play at a club with such a welcoming and intimate vibe.

• When Steve Tilston moved to the town, he was keen to get involved, and offered to host monthly Trades Roots gigs. This album records some of the highlights from the first eighteen months of them.
