• Although Curtis Fuller remains slightly underrated, he is nevertheless considered among the best jazz trombonists ever. He was born in Detroit on December 15, 1934.

• This release contains one of Fuller’s most superlative albums, “Blues-ette”, featuring such important stars as Benny Golson and Tommy Flanagan, and widely recognized as a true jazz classic. There is one bonus track, not on the original LP configuration.
