Levi Roots is an established Reggae singer, label pioneer, MC and producer with a number of solo albums under his belt, as well as credits for album productions going back to the early 80’s. All this activity was but a preface to Levi’s recent emergence as a household name, having successfully courted financial backing with his Reggae Reggae Sauce idea on BBC2’s Dragon’s Den, having persuaded the supermarkets to stock the sauces, published a series of successful recipe books and hosted a BBC2 Caribbean cooking show.

So now it is back to the recording studio for Levi’s latest album, Red Hot, cooking up a brand of reggae which should bring as much pleasure to fans of his culinary exploits as do his delicate spice mixes.
