• Albatrosh is a Norwegian duo consisting of two young jazz musicians; André Roligheten (saxophones) & Eyolf Dale (piano), who have recently won the "SENA Award for Best Group 2009" at the European Jazz Awards. They previously won the Scandinavian Young Jazz Comet Prize.

• Both of the 24-year old musicians are jazz/impro master students at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo. “Seagull Island” is their absorbing and rewarding debut album.

• Their music is based of the improvised expression created, bound into their own compositions. The focus is placed in an acoustic setting, and they try to explore the possibilities of this lineup - working with different roles, expressions and sounds.
