• Guitar Gabriel was born in Decatur Georgia in 1925 and began his life as a travelling musician in medicine shows before joining a band that played at the Dixie Classic fair. He was the original inspiration for and one of the first beneficiaries of the Music Maker Foundation and was finally gaining overdue recognition when he died in 1996

• This CD contains mostly previously unreleased material with Guitar Gabriel performing blues songs in his own inimitable style and there is a booklet full of entertaining anecdotes.

• Coupled with a 75 minute DVD telling the story of the Music Maker Relief Foundation
