• Both were recorded in Paris in 1970 and showcase the complex mixture of bizarre instrumentations and styles that made the Art Ensemble of Chicago a true cult formation - including African rhythms, Asian harmonies, avant-garde freedom and even variations on the earliest forms of jazz.
