Several of the many versions of the MONK theme, played by the talented guitarist Grant Geissman, are included: The emmy-winning Main Title theme, the longer version as used in the 2-hour pilot of the series, and as a bonus, a never-before-released extended 2 ½-minute arrangement of the tune.
The CD also features over 30 tracks of music created for the 1st season of Monk, including material from all of the 11 episodes. The haunting "Trudy's Theme", and many of the wacky, jazzy, and suspenseful themes and tunes that have become the signature sound of the one and only Adrian Monk are highlights in this collection.
