Max Abbott, Chicago's favorite TV sportscaster, is a ladies man. He never had a problem with women until he fell in love with one. Although he has known the lovely, literary Sam for less than 24 hours, Max moves in with her and throws thousands of women into mourning when he announces on air that he is getting married.
