• Sansara is an all-star Swedish band, featuring : Lars Färnlöf, cornet, Bernt Rosengren tenor sax & flute, Bobo Stenson, piano & Fender Rhodes, Thomas Östergren, electric bass, Fredrik Noren, drumsand Sabu Martinez, congas & percussion.

• This album was recorded in 1976 by Swedish Radio program "Opportunities for Jazz", but remained unavailable for many years. It is released as a tribute to the trumpeter Lars Färnlöf, a life-long polio sufferer who died in 1994, aged 52.

• All the compositions on this album are by Färnlöf - and there is special interest in the presence of Bobo Stenson, still only 32, who had made his ECM debut in 1971.
