• Claude Bolling's "Borsalino" theme remains one of the most popular and recognisable French film tunes. The movie, released in 1970 and starring Alain Delon and Jean-Paul Belmondo, was a gangster caper set in roaring ‘20s Marseille and predated the pairing of Paul Newman and Robert Redford in "The Sting"
