• This is Chico Buarque´s first DVD release containing a complete concert - and unlike the live 2CD set, released in conjunction, the DVD was totally recorded in October 2006, at Tom Brasil, in São Paulo. It last for 125 minutes, and is compatible with all DVD players.
• This concert tour brought Chico Buarque back to the stage after a seven year lapse, during which time he pursued his other talent : for writing novels.
• He was seen by 185 thousand people on this tour, which covered 12 Brazilian and three European cities. This 2CD set presents live versions of 33 songs picked from the most diverse moments in his career.
• The superb backing musicians are led by the maestro, arranger and guitarist Luiz Cláudio Ramos, and include drummer Wilson Das Neves. The listener can feel the sparkling interaction between Chico and the musicians, and in turn between them and the audience. |
