• The Embassy label played a particular part in British pop history, issuing covers of nearly every hit parade record between 1955 and 1965 which were then sold through Woolworths at a budget price. The identity of the highly professional musicians and singers contracted by Embassy remained hidden by pseudonyms or group names like The Typhoons.

• Now at last, after 45 years, the Embassy label lives again with this album of 26 Beatles-related songs, complete with a 12-page booklet containing the kind of background information that only the actual artists themselves know.

• As a bonus Ray Pilgrim and Mike Redway went back into the studio to record two fresh tracks, proving that their vocal chords are still in fine shape.
