• “Je Me Reveille” (‘I Wake Up’) is the debut album by French-based, Israeli-born violinist-guitarist-singer, Michael Greilsammer : a fascinating and unusual artist whose music combines elements of Folk, Reggae, Pop, Rock, Celtic and Classical. Michael’s prodigious musical skills, multiple talents and unique style have gained him increasing acclaim in Europe & the US.

• Greilsammer presents a truly eclectic range of songs, almost all self-composed or co-written. He includes a version of a song by the 1990s French folk-rock group Louise Attaque - and also adds, as bonus tracks, Yiddish versions of three of the songs on the album.

• As well as the styles already mentioned, he is also strongly influenced by his long trips to India and Ireland where he has collaborated with many great musicians - in 2006 he was invited to play alongside the famous Irish flute player John McSherry.

• His songs have been heard on radio, TV and on the internet, and he has recently composed the music for several films, notably the original sound track to the documentary film "Displaced : Les enfants terribles de l'Exodus" which was released worldwide in the summer of 2008.
