• French pianist-singer-songwriter, Simon Dalmais, releases this debut album - citing his influences as Paul McCartney, Brian Wilson, Nick Drake and the bossa nova of Joao Gilberto.

• He is the brother of French star Camille, and played, co-composed and helped with some arrangements on her ‘Le sac des filles’ and ‘Le Fil’ albums. All tracks here are composed by him, and with a small group and string arrangements by Olivier Manchon, he creates an album of dreamy, delicate pop songs with catchy hooks within a delicate ambient atmosphere.

• Olivier Manchon is on of the main members of Clare & The Reasons - Bob Hart their bass player is also on ‘The Songs Remain’. Simon Dalmais had also been the pianist on Sebastien Tellier’s 2006 album ‘Sessions’.
