• Originally a jazz bassist, Justin Purtill switched to guitar and after two albums under his own name moved to California to join Melvin Seals’ funk rock band JGB. During his year long tour with JGB he formed his own trio which is currently his working band. With them and the help of pianist Leo Genovese he cut this CD.

• This AYVA Music release is something different from other sets the label has previously issued. It's a very personal sound influenced by the varied musical stages in Justin’s career, that is roots music close to different styles such as Americana, blues or avant-garde jazz.
