• DAKOTA DAYS is an exciting trans-European collaboration between multi-instrumentalists and serial collaborators Ronald Lippok (Vocals, Drums - To Roccoco Rot, Tarwater, White Tree) and Al Fabris (Guitar, Keyboards, Vocals - Pacifico, Masculine / Feminine).

• Fusing mutual influences from PIL through psychedelia to Fleetwood Mac and named from John Green’s acclaimed book chronicling John Lennon’s last days in New York, the album sees deadpan post-rock irony colliding headlong into bittersweet pop nostalgia – the pair’s unique take on Kylie Minogue’s ‘Slow’ being a perfect and unforgettable introduction.

• The two musicians first met as members of Ludovico Einaudi’s touring ensemble and got on so well musically and personally that they decided to form their own project. After months of intense experimentation they condensed their accumulated energies into a suite of characteristically laconic songs backed with a seamlessly integrated acoustic and electronic instrumental palette, recorded the old fashioned way in three weeks at ‘The Marmite’, Fabris' lakeside studio in the northern Italian town of Varese.
