• Lil’ Band O’ Gold is a Louisiana swamp pop super-group featuring: Warren Storm, Dickie Landry, Steve Riley, CC Adcock, David Egan, Pat Breaux & Tommy McLain.
• You can judge a band by the company it keeps, and in the case of Lil' Band o' Gold, its prowess and soul has attracted a formidable swath of admirers and collaborators. Robert Plant, Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, Bo Diddley, Philip Glass, Talking Heads, Clifton Chenier, John Hiatt, Slim Harpo, Lazy Lester, Nick Lowe, BeauSoleil, Elvis Costello and Eric Clapton have all shared recording studios and stages with Lil' Band o' Gold and/or its members over the years.
• Lil’ Band O’ Gold was born in Lafayette, Louisiana in the late ‘90s when rising young guns C.C. Adcock and Steve Riley recruited legendary swamp-pop singer and Excello Records house drummer Warren Storm for a new venture. Once Storm joined the fold, the Lil’ Band O’ Gold ranks expanded to include a who’s-who of master Louisiana musicians that boasted more than a century of hard-earned blues, rock, R&B, Cajun, swamp pop and jazz chops. The band and its self-titled 2000 debut album earned rave reviews across US press.
• With the release of the band’s long-long-awaited second album, the Lil’ Band O’ Gold fan base is about to get a lot bigger. Named ‘The Promised Land’, it’s also the soundtrack to a documentary film of the same name, by London based filmmaker Matthew Wilkinson, which screened at the Cannes Film Festival.
• Lil’ Band O’ Gold performed at the London O2 Shepherds Bush Empire on Tuesday 14 June 2011, and ‘The Promised Land’ documentary will be shown in full before band’s performance.

Reviews ForThe Promised Land - A Swamp Pop Journey!
Songlines - Garth Cartwright
Gathering a dozen top players and singers has resulted in what is, so far, one of the most beautiful albums of 2011. The Promised Land is a wonderful document of an overlooked regional American music. The perfect soundtrack for summer. ****
