• After noteworthy debuts in Cameroon, Erik Aliana performed across the African Continent with his band before coming to Europe in 2003, where he was the discovery of the Musiques Metisses Festival in Angoulême (France).

• A multi-instrumentalist as well as a singer-songwriter, Erik Aliana is key figure of Cameroon’s musical renewal. He has recently played alongside such African stars as Chiwoniso, Manu Dibango and Lokua Kanza. These twelve original “Songs from Badissa” – some of them inspired by O’Sananga traditional music– display Aliana’s great melodic talent, fine arrangements and charming voice.
