• Alpha Blondy is the most popular contemporary reggae music artist in France. The man who put the Ivory Coast on the reggae map by proving the genre was not exclusive to Jamaica has continued to tour the world with his band Solar System but he has not released a record since October 2007.
• "Vision" is worth the wait. All thirteen tracks are pure vintage Blondy – politically conscious and lovingly fine tuned – and celebrate the French and Dioula languages while covering a broad palette of sounds: roots, rock and reggae.
• Alpha Blondy has nothing left to prove yet he continues to amaze us. African reggae is his baby and he is still its driving force

Songlines - Martin Sinnock
This is another fine example of Alpha Blondy's easy-going roots reggae style and conscious style. A varied and highly enjoyable album.
