• Chet Baker and Bill Evans could have made a marvellous team but they only recorded together on a couple of occasions.

• This is a reissue of the LP made in the winter of 1958/59 "Chet: the Lyrical Trumpet of Chet Baker" with the trumpeter in an unusual setting accompanied by great jazz musicians with whom he would only rarely play – in addition to Evans, Herbie Mann (flute), Pepper Adams (baritone sax) and Kenny Burrell (guitar). Paul Chambers (bass) and Connie Kay/Philly Joe Jones provide the rhythm section

• Bill Evans also plays piano on the bonus track from "Chet Baker Plays the Best of Lerner and Lowe"

• 180 g high-definition limited edition LP
