• A collaboration album between two leading figures of Brazilian music : Marcos Valle, a singer, songwriter & producer who has been a key figure on the scene since the bossa nova craze of the ‘60s; and Celso Fonseca, a singer-songwriter of a younger generation, who began his career in the mid-‘80s.

• This album of 12 new songs, composed by the two artists together, includes the special participation of the group Azymuth, Jaques Morelenbaum and Patricia Alvi, plus a full string orchestra.

• It is a strong, soulful recording, rooted in Bossa Nova and MPB, but different from the recent solo work of both lead artists. Marcos plays piano, electric piano and synths, while Celso plays acoustic and electric guitars, and both provide vocals. The orchestral arrangements are by Jesse Sadoc.

• Fonseca has worked with Gilberto Gil, Marisa Monte, Bebel Gilberto and many more. His best-known international releases are on Crammed Discs: ‘Natural’ (2003) and ‘Rive Gauche Rio’ (2005). Marcos Valle has worked with too many Brazilian stars to mention.
