• This year, 2011, the female Norwegian folk music trio, Tindra, celebrate their 10 year anniversary with this live album in collaboration with the internationally established Polish klezmer trio, Kroke.

• These recordings were made in Norway at the Forde Festival and the Sounds of the North Festival. Hilde Bjørkum, leading organiser of the well-known Forde Festival, stated that the Kroke-Tindra concert had been widely voted the highlight of this year’s event.

• There are compositions by both bands, with half the tracks co-arranged by both trios - including the final track : a 13-minute piece based on a poem by Norwegian author Per Olav Kaldestad, best known as a children’s writer.

• Kroke are : Jerzy Bawoł on accordion, Tomasz Kukurba on viola and Tomasz Lato on bass. Tindra are : Aashild Vetrhus (vocals), Irene Tillung (accordion) and Jorun Marie Kvernberg (fiddle) - who is also a member of Norwegian fiddle quintet, Majorstuen.
