• Navarre was founded in 2009 in Gothenburg, Sweden and ‘Nya Fonster’ (‘New Window’) is their debut album. Their emphasis on Nordic folk music, but with influences from many quarters, pop, jazz & world music.

• The members are : Sofia Bergström – vocals; Arvid Kästel – piano; Erika Risinger – violin; Carl-Johan Groth – percussion.

• Navarra play high-energy folk, melodic, rhythmic, playful and serious - blending old traditions and new styles. Their songs, written by Bergström and Kästel, are in Swedish.
