• Two Swedish jazz piano legends - Bengt Hallberg and Jan Lundgren - from different generations (Bengt born in 1932 and Jan in 1966) - meet on this unique new studio duet album.

• Both of them brought their own newly written tunes (3 from Hallberg, 2 from Lundgren, plus 2 co-compositions) - and added standards including : ‘Sweet Georgia Brown’, ‘Lover Man’, ‘Maple Leaf Rag’ and pieces by Charles Trenet and Franz Schubert.

• The two have recorded piano duets before, but never with one another. In 2001 Jan played with legendary pianist Pete Jolly on the album ‘Collaboration’ in Los Angeles, while Bengt recorded with Norwegian pianist Kjell Bækkelund.

• With their acute sense of touch, their intimate feel for musical dynamics, their thorough knowledge of harmonic structure, and their ability to create absorbing dialogues - these two masters make improvisation sound natural and effortless.
