• A tribute to Danish polar explorer Knud Rasmussen (active in the first quarter of the 20th Century), portrayed by Danish sax player Benjamin Koppel's astonishing four-part suite, ‘The Adventures of a Polar Expedition’, featuring an all-star Nordic quintet : Hans Ulrik: soprano and baritone saxophones; Benjamin Koppel: soprano and baritone saxophones; Jon Balke: piano; Palle Danielsson: bass; Alex Riel: drums.

• This project is the result of a collaboration between Cowbell Music and The Arctic Institute. Benjamin Koppel has delivered the music, and The Arctic Institute have provided the historical photos. Jazz inspired by history.
