• Irish expatriate Matt Walsh cut his teeth playing harmonica on the Dublin folk scene of the early ‘60s with the likes of the Fureys and Christy Moore but is now better known to German blues afficionados as a superb blues harp player. Over the years, based largely in Germany, he has made a living on and off from music, done some hard travelling and worked as a trucker across Europe.

• On this CD the accent is very much on his own compositions and vocals, backed up by two percussionists, an acoustic bass player and a guitarist who doubles on trombone
