• A fine 2002 studio album by the often over-looked trumpeter Bobby Shew, a hard bop player with a remarkable sound and technique, who has worked in many areas of jazz - including the bands of Woody Herman and Buddy Rich in the mid-1960s, and with Louie Bellson, Don Menza and the Toshiko Akiyoshi-Lew Tabackin big band.

• On this album he joins the Swedish organ / piano master, Kjell Öhman, and top sidemen bassist Hans Beckenroth, and drummer Joakim Ekberg. Shew had performed with Kjell Öhman on the Sandviken Big Band’s 30th anniversary album (FLCCD167).

• There are two Shew originals, plus pieces by Wes Montgomery, Harold Arlen, Hoagy Carmichael and others - plus a bonus video interview.
