• Barely recorded and unheralded Delta blues man Eddie Cusic played local Mississippi gigs in the early Fifties with his band the Rhythm Aces, which included Little Milton. He continued to play in the Leland area with James Son Thomas before more or less giving up music. After retiring from his day job he picked up the guitar again and has become a regular solo acoustic performer on the festival circuit.

• Most of his repertoire consists of well worn classics such as Catfish Blues, Good Morning Little School Girl and Hoochie Coochie Man, but he is a wonderful interpreter of the tradition – melding these blues standards into something wholly original.
