• Louis Armstrong and Dave Brubeck’s only recorded collaboration. The Real Ambassadors was a play, written and composed by Brubeck and his wife Iola, which delivered a strong political message condemning racism. This album of the music was recorded in 1961 and also featured Carmen McRae and vocal group Lambert Hendricks and Ross. The only live performance was the following year at the Monterey jazz Festival
