• Italian saxophonist George Garzone has been a frequent visitor to Copenhagen since 2000, often at the invitation of Rasmus Ehlers, the pianist on this album - with fellow Danes Jonas Westergaard on bass and Jakob Høyer, on drums.

• When Garzone visited Copenhagen during the jazz festival in 2011, when this recording was made, he had a surprise with him : the Italian tenor & soprano saxophonist Frank Tiberi - a shamefully ignored, musicians’ musician who mentored a number of prominent saxophonists, having played with Benny Goodman, and in the late sixties with Woody Herman. George met Frank Tiberi through Joe Lovano.

• On ‘Audacity’, the fourth release on Stunt with George Garzone, we have Tiberi’s fine arrangement of "Softly as in a Morning Sunrise", plus "Solar" by Miles Davis and Steve Lacey’s "Theme for Ernie" where Frank really unfolds. Garzone leads his "Strollin’ Down Bourbon St’ and there’s a Tiberi piece, "My Man". The other four are composed by Rasmus Ehlers especially for this session.
