• An exceptional new studio album by the blues and American roots music troubadour, Eric Bibb - recorded in Pont Breaux, Louisiana - and weaving together a rich blend of acoustic U.S. folk music traditions - blues, folk, cajun & Americana - released in a beautiful gatefold digipak with a 28-page booklet.
• It features a sublime band : Grant Dermody, harmonica; Dirk Powell (whose Cypress House Studio was their location) on banjo, fiddle, mandolin, accordion, etc; Cedric Watson on fiddle; Danny DeVillier, drums; and Christine Balfa, Cajun triangle - with guests: Jerry Douglas, dobro; Michael Jerome Brown, banjo & mandolin; and Michel Pepin, guitars.
• Born in New York in 1951, Eric is the son 1960’s folk and musical theatre singer, Leon Bibb. His uncle was John Lewis, of The Modern Jazz Quartet, and his godfather the singer/actor/activist Paul Robeson. Eric has toured & performed all over the world, recorded extensively and received a Grammy nomination.
