• Guitarist, singer & songwriter, Larry Garner, delivers a new album Blues For Sale - another exceptional distillation of everyday blues. With ten albums to his credit and thousands of blues miles travelled, Larry is no doubt one of the most gifted blues artists of his generation.
• Blues For Sale proves that Larry has his finger on the pulse of the people. He still exemplifies what a true bluesman is all about and in the high tech over-produced blues world that we live in, Larry has managed to find that happy medium once again.
• Born in New Orleans, in 1952, and raised in Baton Rouge, Larry Garner was influenced by Slim Harpo, Jimmy Reed, gospel music, and later Jimi Hendrix and sixties rock music, while developing his distinctive roots-based style. He recorded for JSP, Gitanes/Verve and Ruf Records but then due health problems, did not record for seven years, until releasing Here Today, Gone Tomorrow (VDCD132) in 2008.
