• Steve Delaney created Count Arthur Strong whilst studying at the Central School of Speech and Drama in the 1980s. The character quickly became an Edinburgh Festival Fringe institution with his famed lecture talks gaining both a cult following and huge critical acclaim.

• The character moved onto BBC Radio 4 for Count Arthur Strong’s Radio Show!, winning the Sony Award for Best Radio Comedy in 2009. After seven radio series Count Arthur made his televisual debut, initially on BBC2 (winning two BAFTA nominations along the way) before moving to BBC1. The third series was aired at a primetime slot earlier this year. There are two Christmas specials currently being made for BBC Radio 4 for transmission later this year.

• Previously unreleased performance of a full length live show from Count Arthur’s largest tour to date.

• Release is planned to coincide with announcement of two Christmas specials on BBC Radio4 and a brand new 2018 tour. Count Arthur is also due to appear in pantomime over the Christmas holidays in London.
