Reviews ForAnd His Orchestra
Jazz Journal - Graham Colombe
Master takes from another album featuring Jacquet with Eldridge and Jo Jones. There are appealing moments.
Jazzwise - Alyn Shipton
This is exemplary mainstream from seven to 11 players, with the leader's distinctive tenor and alto dominating even such combatants as Roy Eldridge and Budd Johnson. ***
